VINTAGE SHOPPING
Mary Lou's Vintage Couture offers specialty vintage clothing and accessories at trunk shows throughout Orange County. And its next show is Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at SINS Designs & Interiors in Orange.
Owner Janet Brown named her vintage trunk show business after her grandmother. Janet is an avid collector who finds high-end items with very little sign of wear; and some never worn items with tags still attached.
Before she started trunk shows, she was often approached about the vintage clothes she wore.
"I sometimes sell the coats off my back to women while shopping at Fashion Island or South Coast Plaza," Brown says. "It’s crazy!"
At her vintage trunk shows, you can find designer clothing, shoes, sunglasses, purses and much more. This is a very cool way to shop.
