AIRe Global Cuisine at The CAMP in Costa Mesa is a super modern dining spot that embraces the small-plates-share-if-you-want menu. Chef Troy Furata's artfully (and tastefully) designed dishes receive high-marks for freshness, flavors and presentation.

AIRe's ever-changing menu currently features an aromatic lobster wrap, marinated lobster wrapped in mint, with sautéed chanterelle mushrooms and blood oranges; Kurobata pork short ribs, cilantro rice and black Arkansas apple fritters; Chilean seabass with poached white asparagus in red curry coconut emulsion and crispy prosciutto salad; and coffee glazed Colorado lamb rack with saffron risotto croquettes.

Warm comfort food includes ultra-rich mac and cheese with panko bread crumbs and parmesan crust, as well as meatloaf made from chicken-fried veal with creamy truffle gravy.

And AIRe is not just a gourmet-driven spot; it's big on entertainment, wine, sake and cocktails. The lounge features a DJ nightly spinning a cool mix of soul, trip-hop and funky tunes.

Events include Tuesday wine mixers (7:30 to 9:30 p.m.), with wine tasting and small plates with DJ Audiotherapist Sai; and Wine & Cheese Socials every other Saturday (2 to 4 p.m.); and Sunday Tea, with two seatings (1 and 2 p.m.) with teas and a light-course meal.

Open for lunch 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; open for dinner 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Lounge open 5:30 p.m. to midnight Monday-Wednesday; 5:30 p.m. 1:30 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.
