ONE ENCHANTED EVENING
It's exciting times for celebrity chef Zov Karamardian of Zov's Bistro in Tustin. Her celebrated restaurant, which serves the finest in Mediterranean and Eastern cuisine, recently opened a Newport Coast location and she's celebrating her 20-year anniversary with a benefit bash: An Enchanted Evening of 1001 Mediterranean Spices & Flavors on Sunday, May 6 from 4 to 8 p.m.
The spectacular event, ideal for food and wine aficionados, gives 100% of its proceeds to two charities: Serving People in Need (SPIN) and UCI's Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine.
Zov rolls out the red carpet for guests who will enjoy an exotic evening of mingling, dining, wine tasting and dancing. The event features lavish stations of Zov's famous Mediterranean dishes and decadent desserts, excellent wines from a dozen vintners, and signature SKYY vodka martinis from a martini luge.
Guests can dance to Mediterranean and Latin music, and don't miss the silent auction: a Tiffany necklace, a weekend at Montage and the Ritz Carlton, and the ultimate prize, a dinner for eight at your home with Zov as the chef.
Celebrity chef Jamie Gwen will be the mistress of ceremonies; Cuban harpist Alfredo Rolando Ortiz welcomes guests, and later Mediterranean sounds from Dark Eyes Band will entertain when Zov and her family introduce their honored guests to the art of traditional Armenian dance.
