BLOOMIES BLOOMS IN SPRING
With baited breath we've awaited the new Bloomingdale’s flagship store at South Coast Plaza, which opens tomorrow at 9 a.m. (you're invited to attend the ribbon-cutting event at 8:30 a.m.) The first 100 guests receive a Little Brown Bag Breakfast, and someone will receive a $1,000 gift card to the store in their bag.
The new store features a glass facade that glows at night, two four-star restaurants opening this fall, and delectable fashion boutiques in the store, including Jimmy Choo, Armani Collezioni and Louis Vuitton.
It's unlike other Bloomingdale's due to its sheer size (292,000 square feet) and variety of merchandise. Choose from products for the home, an expanded men’s apparel, designer's boutiques, incredible designer shoes and handbags, as well as a hip children’s section featuring the latest in Ralph Lauren, Juicy, Flowers by Zoe, Diesel, Seven for all Mankind, True Religion, Splendid, Ella Moss, Lost, Quicksilver and Joseph Abboud.
The opening day celebrations include trunk shows, specials and personal appearances. A few of the events include: Shop from the St. John Sport & Collections departments and receive a special St. John perfume atomizer with your St. John purchase of $500. Meet St. John representative Lesley Keys from noon to 4 p.m. and receive one-on-one wardrobe assistance. At the Carolee Trunk Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. enjoy informal modeling and receive a satin-lined jewelry box with your $150 Carolee purchase. Shop for the latest styles tops for summer by C&C, and receive the perfect summer tote bag with a $125 C&C purchase. Juicy Couture is also giving a great tote bag with any Juicy Couture purchase of $200 or more, while supplies last.
