Rock and Shine is a Newport Beach-based jewelry line of artistic and trend-setting designs where East meets West. Owner and designer Ayesha Soni traveled throughout India last year, spending time with local artisans, to create a line that complements Western fashions. She merges the timeless beauty of her Indian heritage with modern and glamorous styles.

Rock and Shine's bangle bracelets and cuff designs include alternating patterns of turquoise and goldstone cabochons and Swarovski crystals; and spectacular Eastern-inspired combinations of micro mirrors, glass beads and Austrian crystals set against a background of green, fuchsia, orange or black lacquer.

The designs feature colorful precious and semiprecious gemstones, precious metals, and hand-carved woods. Ayesha, a second-generation jeweler, learned the art of jewelry making from her father Noor. He taught her the essentials of handcrafted jewelry and instilled in her a passion for art, style and commitment to quality.
