The Atrium Hotel in Irvine turns into a haunted mansion this Saturday from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. We hear it’s the spookiest party in the OC. At the Halloween costume ball, all ballrooms convert into haunted themed rooms: a Vampire's lair, She Devil's Den, Skeleton's Closet, Witches Cauldron and more. The party includes live bands, deejay's, dancing, a costume contest and more. Pumpkins and Pancakes
Throw on your costume early for pancakes, trick-or-treating and fun all for charity. It's time for CASA's annual Halloween fundraiser "Pumpkins & Pancakes" at South Coast Plaza's Crate and Barrel/Macy's Home Store Wing on Sunday from 8 to 11 a.m. Enjoy live music and entertainment, a gourmet pancake breakfast, trick-or-treating, arts and crafts, a live animal show, and a special visit with cartoon characters.

Haunted tour
Journey through the oldest (possibly haunted?) neighborhood in California on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. when The Tea House on Los Rios in San Juan Capistrano celebrates its "Dinner, Ghosts & Legends Tour" with a special prix fixe Halloween dinner and dessert. Historical docent Melissa Hammer shares tales of San Juan's legends and ghosts as she leads a tour of the Los Rios district directly across form the railroad tracks from the Capistrano Depot. Haunted House
They'll scare the bejesus out of you at Soka University’s 6th Annual Haunted House Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. Soka University’s student clubs combine their ghostly and ghastly talents at The Haunted House on the first floor crypt of the SUA Recreation Center. Entrance fee $5. The suggested age to take this dark journey is 10 and up. A kid-friendly Halloween Playland just for the younger set costs $3 (free for under 3).
