At Greer's OC, we get more requests to feature Mama D's Italian Kitchen in Newport Beach than any other restaurant. Loyal fans call it a slice of heaven.

Mama D's -- family-friendly and affordable -- features great home-style Italian food that's practically in a class of its own. The kitchen cooks time-tested recipes from the owner Keith Davidson's Italian grandmother.

We loved their Neopolitan-style thin crust pizza with fresh pizza sauce made from Italian tomatoes, fresh basil, fresh parsley, olive oil, garlic and oregano; freshly baked lasagna; and Mama D's famous raviolis.

And the extensive menu appeals to everyone: oven baked lasagna, hearty and light (light oil or no salt) pastas, chicken, veal, seafood, and even cold and hot hero sandwiches.

Mama D's is big on freshly baked bread (with plenty of garlic olive oil dipping sauce too). And the staff will even learn your name-after a few visits. The Mama D's team goes out of its way to make you feel at home and comfortable.
