BREWING UP A GREAT DINNER!

The Crow Bar and Kitchen in Corona del Mar, the OC's gastropub with a comfortable pub-like environment and upscale, gourmet cuisine, will host a California Craft Brew dinner Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

The Crow Bar's incredible Chef Scott Brandon will prepare a four-course dinner, starting with an amuse and ending in dessert that's perfectly paired with hand-selected limited quantity ales and stouts.

Beer afficianodos can enjoy sublime brews served with Chef Scott's classic pub food with a gourmet touch. Foods are made from farm fresh ingredients, all-natural, free-range meat and poultry, and fresh seafood caught in sustainable ways.

The California Craft Brew Dinner costs $75 (tax and gratuity not included).

Amuse is a jumbo lump crab club sandwich, paired with Lost Coast Great White Ale.

The first course: a fish and chips house-cured Scottish salmon gravlax, Yukon gold potato gaufrettes, shaved fennel salad and crème fraiche served with Craftsman Heavenly Heffe.

The second course: a spring pea bisque with Hook's 12-year aged cheddar grilled cheese, paired with Stone Levitation Ale.

The third course: a grilled wild white prawns, romesco, wild spring ramps, pappardelle, paired with the Lost Abbey Red Barn Ale.

The fourth course: an herb-crusted organic pork tenderloin, marsala glaze, Fuji apple and potato rosti served with Anderson Valley Brother David Triple.

And for dessert: an Alesmith Speedway Stout float with vanilla bean gelato and house made biscotti.
