We can't resist trying new bakeries, and when Dolcissimo recently opened in Costa Mesa, we made it in ASAP.
Dolcissimo is quickly catching on as a great place to pick up cupcakes, darling mini-apple, cherry and berry pies; miniature cheesecakes, and rich fudge brownies, as well as cookies and caramel apples.

Co-owners and bakers Jenny Woo and Daniel Ramirez prides themselves on using premium ingredients: imported Belgian chocolate, sweet cream butter, Nielsen Massey Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, and fresh fruits.
Their menu is simple and straightforward. The only thing that might boggle your mind is which cupcake to try. There's always eight flavors, four rotate each day. Woo favors the red velvet and chocolate fantasy.
And we love that the bakery items are small ... they makes us feel less guilty.

Dolcissimo already plans to open a second location at Irvine Spectrum Center before Thanksgiving.
