WE'RE BOWLED OVER!

We just received a tour of STRIKE at The District at Tustin Legacy, and let's just say bowling has never looked more hip (if it ever did in the first place).

The super-cool interior is more George Jetson than Fred Flintstone with 30 glow-in-the-dark lanes, state-of-the-art technology, superior arcades, a high-end sports bar, and first class lane-side food and beverage service.

Each lane has its own semi-private banquette, a movie screen and a wait-staff member at your beck and call. The STRIKE menu serves more than a typical bowling alley's burgers and beer.

Your server can also dole out hors d'oeuvres, entrees with an international selection of sushi, Mexican, or you can go Italian. And dessert certainly isn’t forgotten with items like tiramisu, key lime pie and fondue.

Strike celebrates its grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a family day to benefit The Children's Hospital of Orange County. Join the fun with $3 bowling, a free ice cream sundae bar, and game cards for just $5.

Open 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday; noon to 1 a.m. Monday; noon to 12 a.m. Tuesday to Thursday; noon to 2 a.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday. Must be 21 and over after 9 p.m. every day.

The District is at Tustin Legacy, Jamboree Road and Barranca Parkway. 714.258.BOWL 2695.
