GREEN FINDS AT LESS TRAVELED
The Road Less Traveled in Santa Ana, one of our favorite stores, is the epicenter in OC for all things eco-friendly.
Owner Delilah Snell tirelessly seeks out products that are sustainable, salvaged and green. And she recently expanded to include even more incredible home accessories and stylish apparel.
Super-friendly Delilah practices what she preaches. Her store's walls feature compressed wheat, clay-based paint that you can eat, and environmentally safe sealers, floor adhesives, and lacquer. (All of these products are available at her store.)
She gives 10% of the store's profits to charities, supports fair-trade and local designers, including Sustainable Collective by Convoy, a Costa Mesa-based line of eco-friendly apparel, one-of-a kind Houdini reversible skirts made from pillow cases, and deconstructed tees.
Some of our favorites at the Road Less Traveled include Loll Designs, a contemporary outdoor line of green furniture made from 100% recycled plastic. It's durable, weather-resistant and stylish.

And don't miss the Road Less Traveled's Wine & Sign Party on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the release of "The Mothering Heights Manual for Motherhood." It’s a compilation of essays and poems from everyday moms, novelists and Hollywood producers, and explores the reality of being a mom today. The event features readings by writers Cynthia Jenkins (columnist Sugar Mama from OC Parenting), Santa Ana resident and designer Sheila Golden, Irvine resident and marathoner Ingrid Miller and editor and filmmaker Christine Fugate.
