As we learned on a tour of the salon, Harry Winston was all about the beauty of the diamond; he wasn't keen on precious metals stealing the show. He perfected an invisible platinum setting that brought out the brilliance of the stone.
"If I could, I would attach the diamonds directly onto a woman's skin," Winston famously said.
Visitors to the store have the option of shopping in private viewing rooms for a personalized shopping experience.
