A WILD SUMMER THING!
Looking for a lively summer happy hour, fresh grilled seafood and tasty appetizers? Then try Wildfish Seafood Grille at the Bluffs in Newport Beach.
Wildfish Seafood Grille is a great place where couples and singles can meet for happy hour from 4:30 to 7 p.m. daily (and all-night Sundays and Mondays) for half-off select appetizers and specials on drinks.
As a summer dinner special through August, Wildfish offers a special lobster menu with fresh lobster tail flown in daily from western Australia.
For just $45, guests can savor a duo of steak and lobster: an eight-ounce center cut filet mignon and an eight-ounce cold water lobster tail.
Executive Chef Abby Egley prepares lobster four different ways: steamed with Champagne butter; broiled with drawn butter and lemon; lightly tempura battered with honey mustard and drawn butter; and the popular Savannah style with flavorful hot Jonah Crab stuffing made with a blend of southern seasonings, sautéed scallions, celery, red peppers and Panko bread crumbs (an additional $9).
The summer lobster menu starts with a Wildfish favorite: silky and rich Maine lobster and shrimp bisque ($8). And on the lighter side, a chilled one-pound Maine lobster and avocado Salad ($24) with hearts of palm, Fuji apple, French green beans and candied walnuts, tossed in a champagne vinaigrette and the restaurant's renowned remoulade.
As a thank you to summer guests, Wildfish offers a $50 WildCard to tables with a $150 check. The summer promotional dining card is valid toward a return summer dining visit through Sept. 30 (restrictions apply).
