Casa Kick Off Event with DVF
05.16.12
One of Orange County's most beloved charities Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is having their annual Kick-off Luncheon and Shopping Event event on Wednesday May 23rd; brought to you by Friends of CASA, an auxiliary group that is committed to raising funds for Orange County's Mentor-Advocate program benefiting abused and neglected children in the foster care program. Over the years this dedicated group of women has been responsible for raising over 1 million dollars that has gone directly to addressing the needs of vulnerable children.
Enjoy a fashion presentation featuring Diane von Furstenberg's latest Spring Collection with a hosted champagne reception and lunch at AnQi South Coast Plaza, before heading over to DVF's first Orange County boutique. The new 2000 sq. ft. store boasts a classic old Hollywood feel and displays their garments like works of art in a gallery. Famed for her iconic prints and wrap dresses, Diane von Furstenberg's newest location offers effortlessly chic styles for every occasion - from an important meeting to evening cocktails to a fabulous Friday night date.
This kick-off event isn't just a free lunch, Friends of CASA is actively looking for new members to join in on their cause. By joining Friends of CASA, your support will provide the crucial funding to recruit, train and support hundreds of mentor-advocates in the coming year. Your compassion will make a difference for hundreds of children who are currently waiting for a CASA volunteer of their own.
The Friends of CASA Luncheon will be held at AnQi located at 3333 Bristol Street in Costa Mesa from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. with shopping event following promptly from 12 to 2 p.m. And 15% of DVF purchases made between May 23rd through May 27th will go directly to this charity, all you have to do is mention CASA.
