Beloved Chef Pascal Olhats Closing His Namesake Restaurant

I’m sad to announce beloved chef Pascal Olhats will be closing his incredible restaurant, Pascal in San Juan Capistrano on March 30. He’s decided to slow down the business while he deals with ongoing health issues. The great news is that he’s not retiring and will be fully involved at Café Jardin at Sherman Library & Gardens.

“Once Pascal closes, I am planning to serve some of Pascal’s favorite dishes on the lunch menu there, as well as having special dinners. Other dining options are also in the planning stages. Pascal Catering will still be operating and taking care of the special events at the Gardens,” Pascal said. “I am personally still involved at Manassero Farms, as well as teaching French Cuisine at Saddleback College.”

The location in San Juan Capistrano will become Délice Breton, a French café opening in May that will continue to serve fabulous French food. They will focus on specialties from Brittany, including the best crepes you ever had and other French bistro dishes.

Bakery: Monday - Friday 7.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Pascal's Experience: Thursday – Saturday at 6 p.m.
Formal Prix Fixe Dining - reservations via Open Table only

31451 Rancho Viejo Rd #103, San Juan Capistrano. 949.488.0031.
