Celebrate the 110th Annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade at American Legion


In the spirit of the holidays, you’re invited to join the sons of the American Legion for a premier viewing of the annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade in the Newport Harbor. (It's typically only open to members only.) The festivities kick off Wednesday, Dec. 19 and run through Sunday, Dec. 23.

There will be over 200 boats and ships artfully decorated and dressed for the holidays. Proceeds benefit the Vet Programs.

Guests will enjoy a Mexican Christmas Fiesta with Mariachis on Friday and Saturday evenings! The Dinner Buffet includes Tacos, Rice and Beans, Chicken Tortilla Soup, Hot Dogs and Quesadillas, Pan Dulce (Mexican pastries), two types of Agua Fresca, Coffee and Tea.

Seating is community seating on the patio.

Donations: Adults: $29 and Children 10 and under $12. Donations are 100% tax deductible, and the proceeds go to help our troops, veterans and their families.

Entertainment will include Carolers on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Mariachis on Friday and Saturday evenings. Face painting each night for the kids to enjoy.

Doors open at 4 p.m., Dinner starts at 5 p.m., and the Boat Parade passes the viewing location around 6:45 p.m.

There will be a no-host bar for cocktails and a $10 corkage fee (for wine only).

There is limited street parking or Newport Beach Trolley. Call or check the Visit Newport Beach website for pick-up locations and information Arrive early to secure the best parking options.

The American Legion is on the Balboa Peninsula 215 15th St. in Newport Beach.
