Central Texas BBQ arrives in Anaheim

Javier Gomez, born and raised in Anaheim, brings 10+ years of Pitmaster experience to his neighbors and friends with his first brick and mortar location. The much-anticipated grand opening celebration of Jav’s BBQ starts at noon on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Anaheim Packing District’s MAKE Building.

Chow down on smoky favorites, such as brisket, tri-tip, ribs, pulled pork and chicken, served with delectable helpings of creamed corn, baked BBQ beans, mac n’ cheese, green beans and more. Pair your savory selection with your choice of Unsung Brewing Company’s craft beer or California wine from Pali Wine Company. What better to accompany barbecue and brews than blues? Enjoy fatback tunes from Brian Young & the Blues Station from 12:30-2:30 p.m. and Big Jim Caver from 7-9 p.m.

Jav’s barbecue is slow-cooked in an all-wood pit for no less than 12 hours with post oak wood to create a rich and sweet smoke flavor. The result is a juicy, flavorful, fall-off-the-bone meal worthy to even the most discerning barbecue lover. Get ready to taste true Central Texas BBQ in the heart of the Anaheim Packing District! 

Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
