At Moulin Laguna Beach, you can now enjoy the same treats that owner Laurent Vrignaud enjoyed during his childhood summers in Paris. Exclusively available at Moulin Laguna Beach are hand-crafted ice cream desserts, elegantly served in a traditional coupe glaceé; a house-made Parisian hot dog; and fresh upgrades to the cafe’s made-to-order crepe and waffle station.

Coupe Glacée classiques now offered include Banana Split: fresh banana, split lengthwise with vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream, and topped with whipped cream, chocolate coulis and almond tuiles. There’s also a Poire Belle Helene, poached pear with vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and almond tuiles.

The Dame Blanche is vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce & roasted sliced almonds. Cafe Liegeois is coffee ice cream topped with whipped cream, coffee coulis, almond tuiles, & chocolate confectionery. With Boules de Glaces, you can choose three scoops: vanilla, coffee, chocolate, strawberry, or exotic sorbet.

In addition to the classic coupes glacées, Moulin has also expanded its Laguna Beach offerings to include a Parisian hot dog with house-made Toulouse sausage and Dijon mustard tucked into a warm, fresh-baked baguette. Moulin’s made-to-order crepe and waffle station now includes fresh summer fruits offered as an additional topping. Unlike the coupes glacées, the Parisian hot dog, crepes, and waffles will be available to-go. Guests can enjoy them with a glass of rosé on Moulin’s umbrella-covered patio or on a walk through Laguna.
