Epic Casino Night

Join Epic's Casino Night on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. hosted by UCI Rotaract at the UC Irvine Student Center. All proceeds will go towards the fight against the water crisis via Epic's non-profit organization.
Play casino games and you can win great prizes including a 32-inch flat screen TV, gift cards to local shops and restaurants and much more. Epic Timepieces is a local watch company that raises funds directly to large water filtration projects in developing countries. Admission is free. National Scholastic Skateboarding League (NSSL) celebrates its riders with an awards night and fundraising dinner at Hurley HQ in Costa Mesa on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. School skate team riders and coaches can attend for free, all others entrance costs $25 or 5 for $100. The event includes dinner, a season recap video, silent auction and guest appearances by pros. Get Involved with the Film Fest

Film buffs can give back and have a memorable experience as volunteers at the Newport Beach Film Festival 2012 running April 26 to May 3. As a volunteer, you can participate in guest relations, merchandise sales, theater ushering and office reception, and you’ll deal directly with filmmakers and . You just need to attend at least one orientation meetings today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Oasis Senior Center in Corona Del Mar; or Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Newport Beach City Council Chambers in Newport Beach.

Bummed you missed out on tickets to the OC Music Awards this weekend? Head over to the OC Fairground tonight through Sunday to check out the fifth annual Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival.
The event showcases some of the world's best tattoo artists and some great performances. After getting used to the buzzing, you can watch the artists use traditional techniques without machines, freehand incredible designs, check out some art hanging on the walls, or catch the Miss Musink competition.
The Howlers, Guana Batz and Tiger Army are performing Friday night, followed by Bayside, Yellowcard and New Found Glory on Saturday, and The Darlings, Hell or Highwater, Against Me! and Alkaline Trio (pictured above) on Sunday night.

Tickets are $30 for single day passes at the door or $50 for all three days.
