Lighthouse Bayview Cafe’s New Winter Ready Menu

With shorter days and cooler weather, Newport Beach’s waterfront culinary destination, Lighthouse Bayview Café, debuted its new winter menus for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. New menu highlights include for breakfast, Chorizo & Egg Tacos with crispy tortillas, pico de gallo, cilantro, refried beans, house salsa; a Crab Omelet with blue crab, asparagus, herbs, red pepper hollandaise (optional egg whites); and Frittata with kale, mushroom, bacon, roasted tomatoes, and Swiss cheese.

New lunch and dinner meu items include our favorite Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich with Slaw, House Pickles and Herb Mayonnaise on a Brioche Bun; Blackened Mahi Mahi Street Tacos with Lemon Oregano Slaw, Cilantro Crema, Pico de Gallo and Cilantro; Slow Roasted Tomato Pasta with Penne, Garlic, Basil, Peas, Chipotle Cream Sauce and Parmesan Cheese and Slow Braised Osso Bucco that falls off the bone, served with Mascarpone Polenta, Heirloom Carrots and Parsley.

Brunch menu items include Croissant French Toast with salted caramel drizzle, whipped cream, brûléed bananas, almonds; Orange Ricotta Pancakes with powdered sugar, candied orange, whipped butter, maple syrup; and Bayview Omelet with ham and cheddar, tomato confit.

Lighthouse Bayview Café is on the waterfront of Balboa Peninsula’s Marina Park within a sailing and community center with a park and multiple picnic areas. It offers dock space for boaters to access the park from the water. You’ll love its harbor, mountain and city views, access to the sand, and the Café’s modern beach ambiance and innovative menus.

Lighthouse Bayview Café is at 1600 W. Balboa Blvd. in Newport Beach. 949.933.1001.
