Cheese Please! Ooze Fest

10.07.15

Bring your cheese loving friends to Ooze Fest, the first of its kind cheese festival on Saturday, Oct. 10 in Santa Ana. The gist of the fest is that the folks at Foodbeast are celebrating National Cheese Month with the world's largest grilled cheese stack and world premiere of 20 cheese dishes.

You’ll recognize some of the awesome eateries involved such as Social, GD Bro Truck, La Sriracha Racha, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Little Sparrow, Shuck Oyster Bar, Grits Fullerton, Crow Bar and Kitchen, Slaters 50/50, Blackmarket Bakery, Burntzilla, East Los Musubi, and Slapfish. Ooze Fest will also feature creations provided by favorite cheese and not cheese focused eateries. Here’s the entire list.

You can purchase standard and VIP tickets include all-you-can-eat-and-drink food and beer. The standard ticket is $50, and VIP is $75. The event is broken up into two sessions, first session is from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. and second session is from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. (VIP's enjoy noon to 4 p.m and 5 to 9 p.m. respectively). If you use code “greersoc” in the discount box you can save $10 off your entire order! Tickets are available here.

Early birds in the first session will have bragging rights of seeing the world’s tallest grilled cheese stack first ever attempt. The second session will feature the Famous Eaters Grilled Cheese Eating Competition and the award for best cheese item of the festival.

Each eatery has prepared a noteworthy, crazy, outrageous dish that will be voted on by attendees of the event. The winner of the most votes receives the FOODBEAST Ooze Fest award.

A portion of every ticket sale goes to support Inspire Artistic Minds providing scholarships to people in the hospitality industry to attend events or experiences that will inspire them.

Ooze Fest is at Third and Bush Parking Lot in Santa Ana.
