Executive Chef Jonathon Blackford at the A Restaurant in Newport Beach could easily be one of the best chefs in Orange County, and his Restaurant Week menu perfectly shows off his culinary talents.
The A Restaurant menu starts with a duck liver pate, or braised meatballs, or a salad with Fuyu persimmons and Envy apples. Main course choices include a 10 oz. prime block cut New York, Niman Ranch Pork carnitas, or Scottish salmon. The dessert is simply a baked hot chocolate.
The cost for this delicious menu at Newport’s oldest restaurant with a retro chic décor is just $50.
The A just launched a special drink today, “A” Resolution, in honor of Dine Newport Restaurant Week. It’s a refreshing mix of Broken Shed Vodka from New Zealand, muddled cucumber, mint and jalapeno, and lime juice, served up in a martini glass. The jalapeno adds the perfect spicy kick.
