Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week 2.0, Feb. 24 to March 2

SoCal foodies can meet, eat and repeat during the annual Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week 2.0 taking place February 24-March 2.

Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week 2.0 is a seven-day celebration of dining founded by Elizabeth Borsting, president of Elizabeth Borsting Public Relations Inc., which represents several dining and hospitality concepts. Diners can enjoy two-course brunches and lunches starting at $10 and/or three-course dinners or small plates starting at $20.  There are no tickets to purchase or passes required as guests experience the restaurants--and their settings--first-hand.

Dine Out Long Beach will showcase more than 50 restaurants from across the city – from casual to fine dining.  Participating restaurants to date include:

Chianina Steakhouse, Aji Peruvian, La Bodega, Five O’Clock Wine Bar, Open Sesame, L’Opera, VUE Bar + Restaurant, Great Society Cider + Mead, Agaves Next Door, Alegria, District Wine, James Republic, Michael’s On Naples, Café Sevilla, Sweet Dixie Kitchen, The Crooked Duck, Michael’s Downtown, E.J.’s Pub Bixby Knolls, The 4th Horseman, Naples Rib Co., Buona Gente, Sip Bar + Lounge at the Renaissance Hotel, Crazy Creole Café, Louisiana Charlie’s, Michael’s Pizzeria, Kihon Sushi + Japanese Tapas, Taste Wine-Bar-Kitchen, Rance’s Chicago Pizza, Ocean Market Grill, Buono’s Pizzeria, Claire’s at the Museum, Gondola Getaway, The Ordinarie, Ashley’s on Fourth, The Pie Bar, Salud, London Boat Rental, Plunge at the Ocean Club, The Attic, King’s Fish House, Fuego at The Maya, Queen Mary, Table 301, Pier 76 Fish Grill, Lasher’s Kitchen, Sir Winston’s, Promenade Café, Chelsea Chowder House, Steamed Cuisine, Ammatoli, The Red Leprechaun, Belmont Brewing Co., and Ellie’s.

“We’re very excited by the number of restaurants who have already registered,” said Elizabeth Borsting, founder of Dine Out Long Beach.  “We have many returning eateries and several new ones, such as Belmont Brewing Co., Ashley’s on Fourth, Buona Gente and Gondola Getaway, who have never participated in Dine Out Long Beach.  We’re also excited about the new restaurants that have opened this year—The 4th Horseman and Ammatoli—who are eager to be part of the Long Beach restaurant community through Dine Out Long Beach.”

Borsting added that it’s also the one time of year when the entire dining community comes together to showcase the best of Long Beach’s culinary offerings, from all-vegan dining at Steamed Cuisine to “Dine and Duffy” with London Boat Rentals, which offers self-navigated Duffy boat excursions through the canals of Naples.
